We all know that boards everywhere are dead. As far as I'm aware, NC is the last semblance of an active rap forum. It has become a melting pot of people from boards everywhere - including RR, UP, RB, HF, and many others.

RR is putting together its' first PPV in I believe(?) 3 years, and who knows if there will ever be another one.

Out of respect for NC, I'm not going to post any links. Sign ups are in the "Talk" forum and if you know, you know. Many of yall have accounts already. The very few people active on RR over the last ~3 years mostly do audio. NC is almost exclusively text. I'm not trying to "poach" anyone from NC, I just want to see this event go down.

I promise firsthand that all the mags and promotion will be on point. You can sign up for audio battles/topicals, text battles/topicals, graphics, poetry, beats, whatever you want. It's a one-time card full of different types of matches

If you don't have any interest in longbar. Just communicate that you have no interest in doing a longbar battle. We can work it out

(also if your name on RR is different than NC, including it in your sign up would help with assessing how match-ups are assigned)

I think there were a couple owners, but I'm pretty sure I know who you're talking about, and yes. He's cool and puts a lot of work in, but he's very stoic sometimes

I don't think anyone really gives a fuck anymore. We've done a few of these collabs before....everyone just cries about site bias when they lose their battles and then people just go back to their home site or try real life out.

Personally putting in any effort to go to a different bsite that isn't already in my phone's history that requires me to create an account and view a forum in any color but florescent green is just not something that entices me.

But yea have fun. Pussy.

it's not really a ppv, they've just called it that over the years. It's just one big card full of matches that take place over the weekend. Usually one battle happens at a time, people vote and we move onto the next battle. Voting stays open afterwards for more people, but the main idea is to make sure every battle gets a moment in the spotlight

There's usually a magazine, promotional videos, a radio show all involved. This year I think they're trying to get a livestream going and a freestyle tournament. It's all just for the culcha
