• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are 24 hours, anything longer is a DQ and/or Double DQ
• To avoid issues, you are encouraged to PM me your verse in advance

Line Limit:
• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 20 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both.

Voting:
• I do not have time to count links, and I know nobody wants to post them because it’s tedious. Do your part and vote or I’m making house calls.

General Rules:
• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
means you will disqualified.
• A check in isn't mandatory, but it is encouraged.
• If your opponent doesn't check in,

I’m gonna vote - Smash but im doing so very reluctantly. Mainly because I really don’t like Smash’s wordplay. It’s just a preference. While it’s witty and creative one way, it’s forced if you actually read it normal. I’ve just never been a fan of that style of wordplay. Nothing personal.

Slecht you didn’t really have anything that seemed witty or creative, you went more for the cold and direct route but had nothing worthwhile that actually felt like an impactful diss. Closest was your Trump line.

So yeah, keep at it guys, both have some work to do but for now...

Ugh. That wordplay style. It’s so hard to do right, and when it’s done wrong it’s sooo forced.

This was hard to vote on, I think both heads could use a fair amount of practice. The basics are there, but they need to be honed a lot. Smash ended up having better conceptual ideas, but concepts only work well if they’re executed cleanly (and they really weren’t here). Luckily for Smash, Slecht came with less wit... So, he took this one... but I wasn’t particularly impressed with either verse. Keep writing, fellas.

That wp as forced as unwanted sexual intercourse. Please do not do this; I get depressed constantly seeing forced wp. The fact you even acknowledged how forced it is about to make me Kurt Cobain myself. I'm starting to need trigger warnings, because I'm getting PTSD constantly seeing this shit. All dishin in no way = audition. I tried speaking to myself with Orc's accent, lad. I tried to viva la raza it with Hush's dialect. I even tried to say this shit how Answer would and it ain't fit in no way. So as a reminder, forced wordplay is not good wp.

To the actual battle:

Both verses lacked a large amount of wit or interesting concepts. Both battlers wording struggled a bit too, as slecht elongated his first bar, which hurt a lot of his punches and came off more like filler. Smash had better attempts until that last one, where son thought he was MF Doom or some shit and combinedeveryfuckingthingtheresoitlookedlikethisto myeyes. All in all, this battle is tough to decide, because both guys are not really equipped to battling all that much, but I'd have to go with Smash here. His attempts were better and got a better response to me than slechts, although, I wouldn't say there's a LOTB for either or quotables. Both should spend some time in the archives and read up past battles to see what makes specific styles great to read.

Smash brothers been done alot...I even used it on him in our video battle... Miss informed was okay... Campground was alright..the rest didn't hit for me..nothing that carried weight... Not to creative either no hate... Termite doesn't work for me... Cuz it's ter-mite...not term..so came off forced.. all dishing works with my accent but you didn't go anywhere with it... Last two bars were a miss for me..closer was too wording..and ivy sore isn't a normal thing someone would say..

...that’s not really how a hit and run works . Also u don’t have to feel obligated to rhyme twice in the setup every time . Formulas get boring and voters tune it out
