Gotta new apartment I'll be moving into around April 15 and got mostly everything we need exceppttt a couch. I could care less about what it looks like tbh but my girl hates leather and wants dark colors.
Yall sophisticated ppl that know anything about furniture have any recommendations on what to look for?

Going pre-owned (unless you know the previous owner and where they kept the couch perfectly) is a huge risk

While I don't know the conditions of most sales, I know a guy who works for a Raymour and Flanigan. His thing used to be if you want a couch or table or whatever you come in, fill out some paperwork for a shit ton of furniture so you can get a discount on the couch, then a week later he would have you call saying 'we split up, she's moving out and taking the couch. I can't afford all this shit so I only want the couch' so you only really buy the thing you want as a sale
