It used to be if you didn't vote you'd get booted from the league but in this era we can't really afford to lose anyone lol. Maybe if you don't have a 2/week+ voting average you can't get picked for contender matches?


Edit to avoid double post: I got two votes done tonight. I intend to get to the contender match too but 120 lines is a bigger task to analyze. I’ll find some time tomorrow probably.

I'll probably voluntarily step out if I don't vote on anything going to try to vote some when I get back home we are having a puppy reunion with swimming there was 9 puppies in his litter so hopefully they all show up ! we got at least 5 confirmed

That shit got insane quality to it and I bet @Universe will enjoy the shit out of it, too and perhaps inspire him to sign back in.

@Adverse: If week 7 went to shit it was all worth it for the contenders battle alone, that shit was FIRE!

Yo Dom, great verse this week bro! It was it was so funny it made me laugh out loud bro! Man I swear if me and you get into a battle again I hope that I give you my full effort cuz this is the second time that I don't give you everything I got. After June 15 the my time is opening up while I have more time to actually write some verses with more than 30 or 40 minutes to spare. I'll still be here next week and to the end I'm going to cruise it out even though I know that I'm busy as can be I'm still doing it for the love.

I’d be all for a 20 line man poem tourney and I bet a lot more people would come out of the wood work for that. Something to think about

This is it! There's a couple writers on here that writes 20 line verses and gets to the champ match positions. It's all about what you do with those 20 lines that matters and how you flip it.

Adonis, Timeless and Mr. J to name a few. Mr. J has also champed AOWL in the past, so there's really no reason to think you're limited to write max. And 5-10 minutes extra combined to read the max limit from both battlers that have spent 20x the time to write isn't really that much. You can read that stuff while taking a shit and get back to voting later on if that doesn't do it. You don't have to go all out with the voting like I/others tend to do, that's optional as well. Nothing but excuses if you ask me, 20 lines has been complained about in the past. I can understand 60 being too much for some but 40 is a good balance imo and you can still come correct with 20 if that's what you feel like writing.

@Mike Wrecka: Just read your vote on the Frank vs NYCSPITZ battle, you got NOTHING to apologize for. That's a solid example for an average vote with great reasonings as to why you voted the way you did. It doesn't have to be more than what you put down here, good stuff.
