If I even get 1 vote against me, it's a loss. I was actually conceding in the topical tournament when it was 1-1 but the 2nd voter to eth was posting at the same time.

It has nothing to do with it not going my way- like I said I was literally editing my verse out and conceding when it was 1-1 because this shit is taking way too fucking long for only 4 battles to get voted on- especially when these fuckers were sitting around on the boards for hours last night not voting.

Even if I won- I was going to drop out and let a stand by opponent in the next round because of how slow it is around here. Back on Project rhyme we would write 64 lines each battle- now they can't vote on between 16-32....not to mention, they don't know how to vote. I'm not saying they don't know which one they preferred and that they are wrong for that- but I literally had to correct voters because they don't pick shit as basic as abab rhyme scheme because all they really know is end rhyme. The one kid said he liked my flow in one section- but couldn't accurately describe that it was inner rhyme...

It feels like text went back 20 years and the standard was lost completely

I literally wrote the thing in 5 mins or less. Just trying to be a warm body and had no intention of winning. Same as last tournament. I don't know what all the bad energy is about. There's no money or prize. Just a friendly competition to have a reason to write with other writers when there's not much opportunity for that on Sites like this anymore.

I was never a part of any of these site and dont know how yall vote and do this and that I kind of just follow yall lead. Seeing two people conceding is very discouraging that this will be drama free.

there's always drama with some of them - the only time I focus on anything here other than my own verse is when I'm voting, plus a few interactions in threads xD it's why my post count is so damn low
