Why are you against centered verses? Just so we are clear, I listen to the votes and make adjustments accordingly...You are the reason I stopped, although when I write them they ARE centered. When I print them for paper catalog, they ARE centered. When I read them over beat, they ARE centered.

I read everyone's verses pasted into Notepad, personally. I can't read anything centered because it's unnatural for my eyes to jump like that.

I'm just one voter. No need to adjust your writing for one voter.

I think it's a pretentious frill. The reason Certain noted (the unnatural reading) plays into a bit as well.

But mostly the pretentious frill thing.

More power to people who do it. It turns me off from a verse almost immediately. Personal taste.
