Maybe. He always comes off as someone who is very concerned with how he's perceived, to an obsessive degree. When you see him talk in interviews he sounds like a reflection of what he thinks he should be saying. Looks like he does a Patrick Bateman like morning routine. Wearing facial peels and washing his skin with 12 different bars of soap. That's odd behavior. His appearance is weird, and it reflects on his mental state.

@dull boy I could type out a long retort and timeline disproving most of your theorys about ems history etc etc but ill just say I disagree with most of what you said and leave it at that

I will say this 50 was a brilliant signing for both em and dre not only are they still counting money they made off him 50 had an impact like very few have had

If you listen to guess who's back the same cd em heard then passed to dre then they split his signing bonus and let the man make magic you could understand better ...

50 had a major deal with columbia but after he was shot they thought he'd be a liability and dropped him ... em and dre are genius for that shit

You're looking at things from a financial perspective, and I'm looking at things from a creative side. I know a lot of people like 50, and swear he was amazing before he signed to Interscope. I admit, he made hit songs that made money, but as far as being dope? I strongly disagree, not just because of content and style, but because he's basic. I see making money in the music industry as a skill, just not high on my personal view of what I'd like to listen to. Jay Z is out to make money, and so are most rappers, but that doesn't mean I'm going to judge their product on a curve just because they're making music for the masses. 50 Cent's style, and the one Em' used during and after The Eminem Show were a departure from the style that everyone wishes he'd use now.

No grodt was amazing from a music standpoint ... from a business standpoint it had hit single appeal to a wide vareity .. club song, wanksta, track for the ladies... but on the music side of things 50 took dres beats and laid classic song after classic song

Everyone always points out the fat kid love cake line as the flaw but you have to remember he was speaking to a female .. females aren't males when it comes to smilies and metaphors they don't usually give a shit about complex lyrics .. that song actually had 21 questions in it.. kind of creative plus that track and the shirtless cd cover helped him appeal to that audience

Its a rather genius cd ... its not easy to drop 3 single that charts high that appeal to 3 different audiences... then those audiences expands their taste

But the white meat of the cd the non singles are amazing .. gritty ... every song every topic every lyric matches the mood of the beat and that's because of dre because the massacre was the the same way then a after fifty started making his own decisions and a lot of them weren't right

Guess who's back is just street... fifty was angry and that's when he's at his best lyrically ... front to back those 3 cds I named are classics for their music ... but get rich or die trying made dudes either step their game up or end their mainstream career

Plus their are countless mixtapes he dropped that blew a lot of albums out of the water in that time frame

50 was good when he wanted to be an artist ... I think he's head got to big to fit through aftermaths door and that has been his musical downfall
