It'd be like using Knu as a nameplay on Knucklehead. OR, Do on Dominate. It just doesn't make logical sense. Snitching can be shortened to Snitch or S at the least, no inbetween that would ever possibly come up naturally.

I don’t agree. Do and Knu end in a short vowel sound makes them awkward as names. Snit doesn’t. I think either of Snit or Snitch is fair for Snitching the same way either of Bar or Barc is fair for Barcotic.

To me, the difference was, if you say it out loud, it can work. The same way I used Brodin as 'Bro didn't' in a battle once (it was a key sorry), I could imagine hearing it out loud and thinking, 'well, that's his name, just have to google wtf that means now'

Things are and aren't logical. It isn't just strictly an opinion thing, there are general social constructs in what is and isn't a logical nickname or shortening.. It's forced as fuck and looks stupid
