It may only come with battling if you are a text head, but as a topical writer there is also the Open Mic...black consistently posts HOF worthy pieces, and has done for many moons, here and elsewhere, so I don't buy this 'you have to have been battling' because he has been proving his talent week in and week out in the Open Mic forum, he has been active and he is arguably the best writer here. The talent is apparent, I don't see why he has to have competed in leagues to be considered a hall of fame topical writer, surely that should go the the most talented?

I think pretty much everyone is in agreement that black falls into that category.

People have now got the pre existing notion that u have to have won every tourney and league in order to get in


The hall of fame should be based on portraying a consistent skillset for a generous length of time. Period.

Nik has literally the best text battling resume as far as the whos who of text veterans that hes laid to rest over his tenure on netcees alone.

As far as neigh.....

Make a top10 list from 2011 to now for most enjoyable style an see if hes not on it...

I stand by that perhaps we need to loosen our standards... for our given era, we have an exceptional amount of talent still actively participating. I won't name names. but I'd say in a year or two if this site is still going strong there are at least a few people who are destined for HOF

If he is the best writer, and had consistently been the best, he should be in.
