OutKast is the best rap duo ever, and it's not close. If you broaden the term to group, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest and The Roots can get in and make it interesting.

Mobb Deep was nowhere near as consistent as OutKast.

Mobb Deep made one classic album, The Infamous ..., and one really good album, Hell on Earth. The rest were all over the place. Prodigy's solo stuff has been good, but if that counts, then you get OutKast's solo stuff, which includes a near-classic in Sir Lucious Left Foot: Son of Chico Dusty.

The word "greatest" is very different from the word "favorite." Leaving aside personal taste, you hopefully are reasonable enough to admit that OutKast had a much greater influence on rap and music in general and also produced more popular and more critically acclaimed work than Mobb Deep.

If you can't, then this is like getting into a Kendrick Lamar conversation with God of War.
