Bro, they run the ball as much as any other team. But they have to use several backs a game to switch it up because they never have an every down back. Even nowadays it’s Sony, James White, Davis, Burkhead all on rotation. They still get the same total carries as any other team.

there is like 3 teams with every down backs. they don't exist in todays nfl.

the tom brady patriots were a pass first, dink and dunk, every now and then take a shot type offense. the run game was always secondary, used to keep the defenses honest. even the backs they go after are in the kevin faulk vein, they want them catching them screens and wheel routes out the backfield.

i wouldn't argue against tom brady being the goat, btw and wouldn't have for years lol but lets not pretend any of his backs were given the opportunity to be an all pro in that system.

but for context im a ravens fan. tom bradys whole career im watching him play the ravens, play playoff games and supers bowls. being a ravens fan as well i've witnessed basically every type of run game lol. they've made guys like justin forsett rush for 1200 off the seahawks/jaguars practice squad. sony michel out of college was as talented as anyone. they never gameplanned to make him the guy. all those guys were just pieces for tom brady to utilize
