...ego? They just beat the Vikings. Play calling and execution were on point. If it was 13-7 that'd be one thing, but 38 points against that defense doesn't just happen by accident
It's all by cruel design of a higher power who hates Philly and wants our expectations as high as possible for maximum dashing in the super bowl Loljknogod Same to you, man. The way you stay active I saw you say battle and thought 'fuck I probably owe KS 10 lines from a year ago' lol |

Vikes defense verses the Saints was pretty dominant until the last quarter. That defense wasn't the same defense verses the Eagles by any means. Blown coverage all over the place and sucked against the run. The offense was a fucking mess, as well. I guess Keenum couldn't handle the pressure. Kamara and Ingram were shut the fuck down... Blunt and Clemmens were dancing on them. The Vikes choked hard. Eagles played well, I won't take that from them but had they played the same Vikes that played the Saints - I think the game would have been closer - still edging to the Eagles. I called this Super Bowl in week 8, dude. I knew it would be the Pats verses the Philly. |

Then you called it with Wentz at qb playing mediocre teams like everyone else. The story is the eagles ostensibly thriving with their backup qb. Literally no one here was surprised by our defense (though we're happy they're in place) but even if it was just the play calling, he executed what he was told to do perfectly. Considering the pat's biggest weakness right now is the pass defense that's a big deal.

All I'm saying is, the Vikes that played Philly offense and defense WAS NOT the same Vikes that came out against Drew Brees and the Saints, and that is a fact. Pats biggest weakness is the pass defense? Aren't they like 2nd or at least top 5 against the the pass? No - their weakness has always been the slot runs. Which thankfully they shut down Fournette because they saw what he did to Pittsburgh. Pats will adjust, believe that... They always do. Brady the GOAT Bill Belichek the Genius! |

I'm not saying that's what you said - I'm saying Wentz played mostly mediocre teams. Aside from Carolina, KC, LA, and maybe Seattle their whole schedule was a bunch of under .500 teams. The worry for people actually following the birds was that they wouldn't be able to replicate that against playoff caliber teams.
Pats are 17th against the pass http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorysta...1&d-447263-n=1 If the Eagles win, that's probably going to be a factor. Sure, any given Sunday, but that wasn't just a Vikings choke. The eagles were competent enough where they probably could've been competitive against their A game. No one's questioning the pats' ability to adjust lol. This is just about the Eagles looking better than expected which gives us all hope for a half decent super bowl. |

Try entering the correct year and season, they are 3rd Reg season and 7th during post season with Jags being 2nd to 1st. Nice try, tho. Jags pass defense 10x better then eagles and look what Brady did. Stop it. Philly's going to lose AGAIN. |

I've just Googled three other sources and it seems I was wrong
https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/sta...yards-per-game https://www.pro-football-reference.c...s/2017/opp.htm http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorysta...1&d-447263-n=1 Their pass defense is 30th in yards allowed according to these three and I'm waiting for a source to the contrary You do realize I haven't once said the eagles would win, right? No one is doubting that it's the Pats game to lose... I truly don't think we've been having the same conversation. |
