@Certain One thing I'd like to see a resurgence of, that's kind of shunned now, is the dope statementish personals like the bars I quoted above. The last person I've seen to do stuff like that was g0w. I wish we could do stuff like that now and get away with it.

Bags and Neighbor (does he even still count?) are the only people here, off the top of my head, who can maintain quality even when they don't have the full-strength concepts because of their wording.

Bags writes like a good live battler. His lines are animated, and he uses personals well and knows how to set up his punches and how to write a verse that holds up as a verse instead of as a series of couplets.
