the finality of deaths taken my breath
i can't see between the lines to take a step
mistaken the depth for room to wiggle
tried to fine myself a little, tried to make some spittle
my mouth is dry though. cant comply to notes i never wrote
just sit back and act like i dont see the world dying
its beyond trying to counteract it
just behind the counter active, subtracting brain cells
where the pain dwells hits with tomahawks
soon my heart'll stop, but it's not beyond the drop
or where the whole world listens
the pearl still glistens and tells me it's allright
up all night. where could have i gone right.

Once, I wrote a song. That song was clear and concise. I never recorded said song, so I'm not sure calling it a song would be wise. I mean, what is a song? Is it a metaphor for the scheming I'll give to this written to pretend it has meaning? A song can be a bird. Which can be a middle finger. A middle finger can be a prong, or a substitution for a wiener. That's neither here, nor there. So where is it? Does it have no place to find relevance? I just blither and blather. You'll find no intelligence, but you'll lap it up, so long as I say it with eloquence. Not to lend that label to this crap, this is just me sitting at a table to chit chat. It's painful I'm this drab.
