@Meth @Seth Scheinberg I think you need to make a certain number of votes mandatory

It keeps the forum more active and ppl are more motivated when they get more feedback

Especially important as the number of participants goes down each round

Word, I for one. Agree.

Only problem I have with it is, if you make a certain number mandatory that means there has to be a punishment.

And in a big tournament, well, the biggest tournament I don't want to have to decide the outcome of a battle with say... a voting deduction.

1) I don't think that's ever actually happened (in a big battle), and

2) A tourney that goes to shit bc of inactivity is a worse outcome

these battles and votes are sooo biased its crazy..."its understandable that you would use a bunch of NP against someone you know youll beat"...i NEVER had a chance in this battle before it even started! props to allen tho, i did like his verse. i just wish we would hop off each others dicks and not word our votes to fit the "big names" around here, its old.

Yo, sorry if that comment hurt your feelings. But let me clarify: expecting Allen to win is NOT the same thing as being biased. You were a huuuge underdog in that battle, no-one would dispute that - not even you, surely? But if you had put up a better verse than Allen, I would have voted for you. You didn't, so Allen won.
