i beat frankie wapps, syd vicious, promo battles with t-rex an dizaster, battled everyone worth mentioning in colorado pretty much, an i've battled in four states an i think six different leagues...

haven't got around to watching the battle, but I give nothing but props to Detour for doing this shit, and I respect his opinion on the matter. It's the same reason why successful battlers flop as artists, because battle rap fans are fickle and have little, if any loyalty. Why do you think battlers can have millions of views, 10s of thousands of fans on fb or twitter, and when they make a solid EP/mixtape/album (to be fair, many do suck, but plenty are decent and better) they only sell hundreds of copies? Just how it is in the market, I suppose, you gotta work hard to maintain relevance with people.

frankie wapps battled a whole bunch in grind time, he's well known in new york, he arguably beat big kannon an ness lee...syd vicious beat ness lee, ran the grind time georgia division, battled in kotd, beat jonny storm an a buncha other kats too...that's two battles worth mentioning without even countin rex an dizaster...

it's impossible for kotd to survive without pay per view...I think doing pay per view events an then later releasing the battles for free is the way to go, same way UFC does it with pay per view an spike tv...
