these are light and I repeat light exercises, never more than ten lines a week. im in some leagues as are most of the other members so this will never be a burden. its all optional. the idea is to write and compare your writing to the other members. this way you can see how they handled the task, and see what you like that they did. through reading others work on identical topics you can see how you could have approached the verse differently to make it better. we can also incorporate battles, we can all write a battle verse towards the same fictional name and compare.

im thinking doing this all through PMs at the moment is the way to go until we possibly get a sub forum. So I will take all the PMs and condense them and send them to the members that participated. this will not be something we post unless everyone wants to. one of the advantages of not posting it anywhere is that you could possibly re-use or slightly tweak any lines that you wrote for this and put it to work in a battle or OM piece.


Im ready to go right now so PM for the exercise and we will go from there. I will be participating in every exercise. Start date is now, Completion date is Thursday. ok hit me up. pz.

in the spirit of the cause, we clearly do not want to make it an "exclusive' thing, but my initial thought was just to manage the numbers so we could establish some order & get in a rhythm first.

I asked GoW if we could create a sub-forum either way- where we can post relevant topics/lessons learned/collaborate on ideas/etc. --- we can leave that forum open to anyone, but will obviously manage the free posts/trolling/etc. in it to keep it focused on the topic at hand.

Maybe we do this for 2 months, and those that are still active/contributing can vote on whether or not to let someone, to ensure they are genuinely interested?

I definitely think 'for now' keep the current roster of people. sign ups have been up for atleast 2 weeks, and its easier to cultivate this idea with this many heads. Between this and Snoops Ultimate writer ish, success with only attract more people. By that time many of us with probably be at a better writing level and will feel confident sharing our findings with the new members added to the group

@Mike Wrecka, man u know I always been with that sht....and the fact thats its optional is good....cuz well yall should know how I roll by now, i contribute and try to do what i can, but my plates been full with irl, work and legal, but its dope...

@ Namix...the way I look at this group are individuals who have either been at it for a while and just want honest critique from respectable ppl, who they either value their opinions and can rely on ppl actually being sincere and not just trying to boost ego...ppl who have been at it for a couple years and are confident with where they are, but would like to fine tune their sht and get feedback, or new-comers that have heart and dedication, and are eager to learn and open to critique, harsh or not...that all, but we share personality attributes as well...like check me out...
I've known mike and geno for years, and would kick it with both irl...; keith and strikt been cool in my book, so has namix and randum as well, but i respect where their heads at as well, split n witty to till a degree lol, veritas well he keeps it 100% n dood can write and shares somethings I appreciate n like to discuss on...malachia (profet) is young and eager and the rest yall I don't really know, but that sht dont matter, and thas what Im trying to get at...we have something we enjoy doing, and wish to get feedback from indivduals whose opinion we value cuz its honest...which brings me to what I was originally addressing...I say keep it to this, ppl had their oppertunity, I unno how u chose who made the cut @ namix, but they had their chances, n besides when sht expands to quick things usually get outa control...i say cap it...bsides I unno how many more ppl round whose opinion I value...lmfao j/f around....

few thigns real quick tho

1) subforum should b open to look, but no comment unless have the clearence...if we want more comment thats om use.
2) @namix, get everyones AIM's, or everyone should just post up their AIM and AIM cyphers n keystyles and sht can get rolling...and also chatrooms and all

And yea, what was cool is I didn't really even know most the people that signed in at first --- but i knew almost everyone would be good for the cause.
