I prefer to drink liquor straight. If I make a brown liquor drink it'll be an Old Fashioned. As a sheltered Midwesterner (4lyfe) I balk at the name "Manhattan", god forbid I'd drink one.

That's unfair. Making simple syrup causes a kitchen mess. Old fashioned is goat I agree. But Manhattan has no sugar so technically it's less girly.

Well, as an adult male over 30 with a child a liquor drink being 'girly' doesn't really bother me my guy. Even if it's 51%+ girly! I'll still drink it. Probably due to low test.

Sometimes I'll even watch Lifetime drinking a Shirley Temple. Just to tempt fate.
