word, puffy and dre have the excuse of being a producer tho, they never were known as mc's so its fine for people to write their shits

and INNO songwriting credits can be given to producers as well, the majority of rappers don't use ghostwriters, if they have other people getting songwriting credits it could be anyone from the dude who made the beat, the dude who produced the track, the dude who mixed the track, if its got someone singing a hook etc.
