I don't think it has any effect on the end result, myself. Just helps me decide how much lead time I should give in order to turn out an equivalent piece.

Every vote counts the same. It could be the worst vote ever, a vote cast out of spite or cast without reading either verse. But if there's an explanation, even a faulty one, it has to count.
