On another note, as I explained to you Certain at a previous time I did not know Zygote beforehand. I came to this site on my own free leisure. My other friend Jesodist knew him from that other site that I can't recall the name of at the moment.

I like it the way it is. Proper voting takes a lot of time, but you just get docked points in the next round. Less people will vote, the way it is.

Maybe keep it how it is but, say if a person puts their votes in 2 days late, then a half of a point... I dunno.

Maybe allow extensions of 24 hours on the verse, but dock 2 points.

I'm not afraid to lose a topical lmao. Was lazy, eventually found myself up against the deadline dead tired so I just threw up a joke verse thinking maybe I'd get an undeserved win. I mean, it wasn't like I was intimidated by my opponent? Or any opponent? My show rate is completely dependent on how lazy I feel like being. Also, I didn't write a 'replacement' verse because I think it's egregious to do so, even if Defiant allowed it. Time restraints + my inherent laziness + hangover equals a no show verse which is better than no showing period. At least my opponent gets mandated feedback. I apologize for not realizing your idealized version of a topical competitor, though. God Hates No Show Verses.
