this league will take me some getting used to. it's weird for me to see so many writers without a strong rhyme scheme, at least that i can see. some guys are solid with it but it doesn't seem to be required among the entirety of the crew. i'm almost perceiving myself as a minority even though from what i've seen i think it's like fifty-fifty. it's just a change for me i have to get used to.

The most successful writers here have very complex rhyme schemes. Read oats (our current league champion) or El Pancake (our Season 2 champion) or Lars (our Winter Topical tournament champion) or dead man (our Season 1 champion).

i known oats has dope rhymes, and i've seen in the past that the others do well as well. years ago when i was a very green topical writer, dead man (i'm pretty sure anyway, alias and all) was one of the writers i tried to watch to develop my abilities. i know there are a lot of heavy rhyme scheme writers here, i was just merely commenting on how many i've seen that don't have that rhyme scheme, something i'm not used to, or at least i feel like theres MORE of them here than i've seen before but maybe it's just me being weird. i still acknowledge the writers that do.

I hate this notion

In of the old breed where a topical can be anything from writing about the life and Day of a shit turd, to ants. I really do try not to write story's, although I can, just prefer the non storied topical.

And @d0ubt when you say you have great skill in something, it will make us dissect it and find the flaws. I agree that there are some that do simple rhyme or less abstract rhyme. I am actually accused of this. But I disagree, to me my shit always flows to the beat when record them plus I try and have fun with some schemes. Either way, when people say I rhyme weak,which is often, I just assume they don't fully understand the depth they just read. Because quite frankly, I'm the shit

you were one of the writers this week that i liked their rhyme scheme, i didn't read your piece as i never read my opponent's, but after a comment in a vote i checked out your rhyme scheme and it was pretty involved compared to other rhyme schemes i looked at.
