we understand that. its just corny to play it safe. you gain fans by dominance. a 4-1 where you beat the shit out of someone is alot different than a 4-1 where you stop someone from beating the shit out of you, periodically shoulder shrugging and stomping their toes. usman could be a dominant champ he has all the skills to be the black gsp. i can think of nothing worse for the division lol

usman beat the shit out of colby because colby was a better fighter

why would the champ sink to some journeyman's level and risk a flash ko for dana's pocketbook?

Colby got finished by Us w/ full training camp
Mas got HARDLY taken down a few x, couldn't be finished and started landing on Us in the 5th WITHOUT a training camp + some pizza deliv. LOL

I'm out of the loop.. was hella into MMA for a long time and stopped watching... or paying total attention after mcgregor and khabib, not out of disenterest just out of life happenings... or maybe it was also a bit out of disinterest.

Sounds like this was a let down, did they have people in the crowd? probably not.

My favorite fighters in particular order.. .is people who really fought and I know theres all types of techniques I even liked the only karate dude Machida.

But I always liked bangers... Diaz... Rampage I liked BJ a lot because he'd throw. Forrest griffin way back in the day... loved Clay Guida because he looked like a cave man, he was a wrestling dude but would go ape shit.

Sonnen ... I really liked him until his fights got boring and you could just tell he was talking a bunch of shit to get a fight he'd knew he would lose. I didn't like GSP personality but he was great, thought he was going to come back but apparently not.

but that was my era its been awhile since i've actually closely paid attention
