I think Llama had some issues with site hosting and owning them outright? after moving to BW?

Me and him used to be tight... I have always wished I could touch base with him. I wouldn't be surprised if he's lurking somewhere.

Last I heard he moved from NY to Alaska.

He used to be Allah of course on bboys.

He got busted for wackin off on cam of course, but he got passed that lmao... pretty much everyone used to diss him for it when he'd battle.

But he documented everything. The only one close to him was @KempoMRK

the general timeline here:

i became admin on b-boys and banned lama. he started bw. lithix opened pr. i left b-boys (and so did everyone) and took over PR. lama quit bw and gave it to me. i ran both for a bit. lama decided he wanted the site back, but i was petty, so he instead took an old backup of bw and opened netcees v1.

netcees v1 had a good run but he openly abandoned it. eventually the domain went down, followed by the site, which seth and GOW knew was coming so they archived what they could and put it on netcees v2 which was really a clone of aob.

netcees v2 ran for a while through the hands of gow, then namix, then briefly seth, who then worked with namix to transition it to me. at the same time this was happening the netcess.co domain got sniped so i created netcees.org, moved the site over, and netcees v3 was born.

database crashed like 2 or 3 years ago and we lost a few months of stuff. pr database corrupted. i lost the pr domain to a sniper when trying to move hosts. i still own the pr database, the bw database and domain, and some other stuff.

and here we are with upn coming back to activity due to quarantine.

A little off

NC was down by the time I came back. Actually wasn’t even involved directly with AOB for awhile. And Namix never owned it and gow “couldn’t figure out” the hosting stuff after he locked me out of it all. I paid the bill literally the entire time namix “owned” it. Glad it went the way it did and you got it. Would’ve ended up being an RB redirect.

I did not realize the pr domain got snagged. That sucks.

Yeah, which is basically what happened here. Netcees.com was up for thousands of dollars so I bought .co

By the time it got to diode I had long since transferred rights to that over and it was a whole thing so diode just bought .org

I had .net redirect here at one point but didn’t bother paying for it again

Also a big piece of the timeline which isn’t covered by diodes post that’s a big factor in why this new style isn’t what these old heads do is that NC 1 was the first true refuge for long bar heads and marked the complete death of that style by anyone considered good. Nobody Smiling and RapsElite were the stepping stones to NC v1 for longbar heads which is probably the BW/PR point of diodes timeline. Beyond, Orc, Dominate and others. Blue had always flirted with shortbar but was also one to the elites in longbar. Myself and some others never were part of the timeline attached to the “legends” a lot of people refer to who are popping up right now.

I was already doing short bar on Illesty and RM for a few years before NC1, that’s where I met Hush & murda sho etc. I stopped long bar pretty early bro. I wasn’t good at all back then, would say literally every body else who ever came here was better than me at that stuff

Meant more how the styles weren’t centered in coming from there

Illesty is a good one too. I never battled at RW always assumed it was LB but both that time period. It was like late 2008. I remember you inviting me there and liking it and reconnecting with sho. He and Aero were always shortbar heads on longbar sites

Mostly my point is, what’s here now isn’t 100% rooted in what these guys were doing in 2003
