he more than deserve his place on 'hip hop greats' lists.. even if 90% of his songs are poppy garbage these days you know hes doing what he got to do to survive n keep the cash flowing.

ppl aren't roasting you for not liking snoop, so much as the reasoning behind it

like.. you say he "gets away" with simple rhymes because his voice and his swag (there's more to it than that, that makes him dope). but to be quite honest all the things that make snoop dope are more important to hip hop than his ability to make complex rhyme schemes.

gimme music with vibe and personality over any of them monotone lyrical miracle cats any day.

and I like underground/indie hip hop too. I fuck with a lot of "lyricist" type rappers. but they music has to have a vibe to it. and multies and punchlines for the sake of multis n punchlines gets old quick.

there's no wrong opinion tho here tho, nahmean. to each their own, diffrint strokes, etc.
