iono, I was staying at the westin governor morris for a weekend 2 years in a row, and a few years later at the Hyatt and there was one tiny part of town, near this one shopping center/Burger King and shit that, you could tell was the "working class" neighborhood.. but I'd hardly call it "sketchy", I certainly didn't feel uncomfortable there.
