I'm a beacon of truth, a sad case, a tragedy to some
That my agony was too far past trying to over come
I became numb to the world, lived a shadow to most
Paddled the oceans with broken oars battling ghosts
In my travels I've approached demons, witches and gods
Dreamed a thousand visions that left me twisted in knots
Forgot those who loved me as they forgot I exist
Proven in every razor slit neatly notched in my wrists
Kissed a fantasy that promised we could just live
Only to land in a pit of broken hope I'll never forgive
So I sit at the ledge with this note sewn to my hand
Looking down upon the very world who will never know who I am

So tonight I've had it, decided I'm ending my life
Made it 10 feet from the edge before I realized
I'm 30 stories up, dizzy, shaken with freight
Suicide attempt #25 a Failure -

Note to self:

"Hey Dummy, your still afraid of heights"

Oh well, maybe next time. . .
