This shit is dope imo. Just another tribute to hip hop but the twist on it is its always relevant with the bs of todats music and new rap. Makes it fresh as far as concept goes. Content was nice. Really started grabbing me about uarter way into it and gained momentum nicely. Good read man. Good mechanics.

Definitely know your artists and how to fluidly connect your inner rhymes and multis. Nice transition with the names and what related to them like the DMX on crack bit. Delivered Nicely flow stayed sharp too. Didn't see the match up but this a solid verse

Talk that fuckin' shit... this line was dope. All in all, I agree with your point of view. I share the same perspective as you with this. You know I'm a heavy AOTP fan, the underground scene and the legends of the game. However, I will say like everything, change does happen. Whether we like it or not, or accept it or not. I for one, refuse to accept it. LOL... With that being said, I like music from Phora, Witt Lowery, NF, which are not your Lil Xan, Lil Pump etc. TBH I never heard any songs from them. There are new artists out there that have evolved the craft that are not the bottom of the shit barrel. There is hope!

My dude this shit was dope. You articulated the fuck out of your p.o.v. and I can't say there is much of anything to disagree with. You've always had a very natural/conversational like quality to your verses and this piece is proof positive of that statement. The lyrics were slick, meaningful and the gods honest truth. Whereas the rhymes were just straight buttery as fuck. None of which suprises me knowing who the author is. Illmatic. Keep em coming.
