My only problem is the "mental illness" aspect of it. What mental illnesses keep you from owning one? Depression/anxiety? Im sure there are records of me having that. I dont want that to keep me from getting one.

And the problem with the watch list thing is determining how people get on the watch list.

Id say the majority of americans are for guns in some fashion, even if its just pistols and shotguns/simple rifles

But its more split when it comes to assault style rifles
