and these rebels been fighting with stolen/given guns and shit.. nobody got weapons capable of shooting down a passenger aircraft at like 30,000 feet from the ground. this takes specialized weaponry, you can't just do it with an rpg.

did it say if the plane was ascending or descending or if it was at it max altitude? obviously if it were on the way up or down it would be a lot closer and easier to shoot down...not that 15,000 feet is "close" by any means but it would take slightly less advanced weaponry to shoot it down
