The way I interpreted this was that when Cynthia farted, she activated her gigantic gas tank in her lower body and saved the bus full of people! Nah, this could've went a few directions. Was the whole verse symbolism for pregnancy and the difficult, narrow path a sperm cell must take to make it to the egg: her origins/parent's place. Or did she really just pass gas from a burrito. It was interesting, and that's what matters. Strong writing, though it's marred with grammatical errors. I know you don't care.
