The 90's imo were the last time rap beat creativity was possible, there's only so much you can do with 4/4(8,12,16) timing. It's now up to the likes of us to attach meaningful lyrics to them, much like how Jet (years ago) and black Sabbath were/are able to make a comeback. I'm seriously thinking about contacing my old actual musician friends to collab on some atypical timing beats
