"You suffer from separation anxiety, take these pills and we can talk about it". Reality = Dad left when you were 9, your dad happened to be a bad parent like many others out there. Mum still provided and had a good upbringing. Get over it fagg0t.

yea but those arent normal behaviors...a dog that eats shit...is said to be 'lame' or 'dumb'
hawks r the only ones and thats for utility of beak..and i dont think their pain sensation is the same as say biting ones lip.

but then u have spatial disorders like dislexia or total behavioral disorders like cortard syndrome...that i dont know of any animal exhibiting besides human..but it can be said this can be blamed on the complexity of our brains...and the larger % of something going wrong.

Also, author called Szasz wrote on it - ("the myth of mental illness" - "the manufacture of madness" - "essays on the psychiatric dehumanization of man") unfortunately cannot find free full-text online for them. Older critiques of DSM and ICD often give arguments for mental illness as a construct (just search variations of 'DSM/ICD diagnostic validity/reliability').
