Year make and model of the 1st whip you owned on papers/legally. & what ended up happening to it?

Silver and black 1983 Lincoln Continental. My dads old car, fully restored. A couple months after I got my license, a dumbass girl driving the other way mistook my lane (fast lane going the other direction) for the center turn lane and crashed into me head-on. Totaled the car. Fact it was a Lincoln probably saved my life.

The insurance company gave us the Blue Book value (something ridiculously low) instead of paying to fix the ride. And my parents replaced the greatest car in the history of the world with a fucking LeBaron convertible.

True story.
