It was hard to get into this, once the drums kicked in. I actually thought the sample/synth sounds you used were cool... I kept waiting for them to be arranged into a more coherent way.. and when the drums came in, they didn’t seem to mesh with the melody.

I’m usually simple and straightforward with my drums, so any time there are drum patterns that are all over the place like this are not really my preference...

lol.. Its a different approach for me. I was keying in on J. Coles style and trying to be as creative as I could. Its perfect for J. Cole, as most of his beats reflect this beat of my own that I share tonight. I was just being abstract and different. The drums actually form a pattern. Its all about the element of abstract hiphop, but if you listen to most of J. Coles music, youd notice what I am talking about. Thanks for the feedback.
