Two lips pucker, succulent hymns
A couple stuck within limbs
They’re struggles intense
Muffled breaths draw short, rugged imprints
Love at first sight, bursting twilight
Fireworks ablaze, breaking day while in night
They drift away within life, afraid but alive
Taking fire by arrow, cupid grazed either side
Damage is done, Love struck by a gun
A pair has begun being spun into one

Tied by the tongue

They first met with seagulls cawing demands
He’d been gnawing off hands,
Killing time via walks in the sand
Skipping stones upstream, lost in a trance
Summer rays kissing boredom away
He found love by the beachside that day
Mary-Jane was his boo, but now Crystal came through
Changing circadian rhythm, leaving chakra aloof
The price of love soars, he’s high as a cloud
