She was the only one I ever loved, I cherished each and every curve,
The dimples framed her smile above her perfect chin,
her each and every word.
I hung upon like linen sheets out in the elements to dry.
Yet with each and every passing day, I started asking why.
I loved the way she danced after work, when I opened the door to my room,
Patiently there waiting with a list of reasons she adored me I loved to listen to.
I pushed her back and dove deep within never knowing my own problems,
You lose yourself as you weep and grow, relearn how to walk and fall in..
Huh, as your heart changes the world lays idle, staying the same while we aren’t.
If you stare at the world long enough, it often loses it’s charm.
and you only further your own agenda through the days as they pass.
I’m looking towards the future.. hoping each moment could everlast.
With a vast sunset open, it’s rays show the scope of our life’s compass,
shining deep within the decaying night to display the right amongst us.
I walk into the future open to the heights love sets, letting go of regret.
Each and every seconds sacred, moments we should never forget.
