Lmao v you have no concept of what I do
For the most part my classroom is consistently managed. Meaning there are so many structures, routines, and expectations in place that students are so focused on and expected of, we rarely have the time to think about doing something that warrants discipline. This child was in a time out for his behavior before he even got to me. I followed the usual procedure but considering the way he was acting actually made the classroom experience worse for every other kid there, I laid down some rarely used discipline (as recommended by the kid's caseworker). I'm not flexible with anyone taking away from a whole class' experience the two classroom aides present thought I handled it perfectly. The rest of the class went perfectly and everyone had a good time while learning. And I started asking around to find strategies that have worked for him before but any teacher here will tell you there's a certain point with him and beyond that you're cutting into the learning of 22 other kids. But that's a boring thread title in a discussion forum slowing down immensely Kindly hop off my dick #nothinghappenswhenyoudie |
