Illmatic is consider to be the greatest hip hop album ever, not just nas, ... it is easily consider arguably the greatest rap album ever made

Life Is Good might be the best proper Nas album since Illmatic. I've grown on it over time. Fuck Salaam Remi.

I see a lot of people sleeping on Distant Relatives, which is top 5 easy if you consider it a Nas album (which I don't).

for you @Certain, I'll give it another go. I thought it was overall kinda bland when it came out, but I haven't listened to it in a while. In return, do the same to Distant Relatives. Not a single skippable track on it, and Nas' performances on it were the most inspired since God's Son.

Won't be anything too controversial, tho I would have Hip Hop Is Dead higher than a lot of people seem to. I enjoyed it, it wasn't mind blowingly amazing, but I thought it was a good album.
