It's easy for me to believe either side:

1. That Muff cares so much about Internet respect from a bunch of men he will never meet that he posted clearly private photos of his girlfriend on a rap message board.

2. That Muff cares so much about Internet respect from a bunch of men he will never meet that he made up a girlfriend, pulled photos from someone's Instagram account and used multiple text message apps to pretend to have a conversation with his fake girlfriend.

There is no third option. And until Muff produces a photo that actually shows him with this girl, it is much easier to believe the second.
