My Dark Fantasy..

I had a heart of gold that could shatter a spear
Now I smile, enjoying the rush, as the blood spatters & smears
I traced a heart with it, making the savagery clear
As it mimics what I don't have; since I'm lacking in tears
I figured w/ all the feelings I had they'd rush like a flood
Instead I felt free- I'm no longer smothered by love
Still, I reminisce on the days when I would blush from the lust
Praying I'm cleansed of my sins as I'm covered in blood
Her soul was as cold as the arctic, I was removing the glaciers
We were one in the same until I grew confused by her nature
Before that, I felt like I never knew of an angel
'Til I seen her removing her halo- I was consumed by the anger
She's the devil in disguise, now I'm restless & hopeless
Distraught by the fact it took me forever to notice
I was lost in the moment, searching for apathy
It happened in a blink of an eye- As she yelled, I was back in reality

"I'm sorry, what'd you say, sweety?"
