It was the downfall of the album, especially on songs like "Wishin' " where Common was great but on a completely different vibe and flow.

The Black Thought version works much better. MF DOOM has a really strong second verse on "Highs & Lows," but the song isn't up to par. Joey Bada$$ drops a really typical wish-it-was-the-1990s verse on "Golden Era," which fits the vibe of the album better. Logic does nothing for me, which is annoying because "Mode" is long and could have been a great track with just Royce da 5'9".
