Awesome thread. Street Fighter is still goat. There have been other good fighting games like MK, Killer Instinct, Marvel, and Justice League, but SF is still the standard

SF2 is the godfather. Fuck all that came next.
Hold back to block. It made sense.
MK had hold down 'block button' to block, it wasnt fluid.
MK had tap tap moves, SF2 had back-forward and roll moves, much more fluid.
MK was great but it was a different approach.
SF2 was the godfather...
I look forward to this revival.

Mk has fatalities, blood flying, that dude who goes "WHOOPSIE", a million n one complicated combos and just overall better characters

Sf is all sunshine n lollipops.. Good arcade game, soft on the console
