its not because his parents are criminals, (they are, but its besides the point), its there fault because there 12 year old child is not responsible for himself, they are. if you let your kid run the streets which isnt a crime, you should at least instill in him how to act in public that won't lead him into problems, or incarceration or DEATH

the fact that he was in the streets with a bb gun menacing people is his PARENTS FAULT

I knew right from wrong, and while I was doing well to okay on school, they never woulda believed that I was getting high, shoplifting, partying, sneaking out etc etc. you can't blame parents. At the end of the day, it's up to the kid and who that kid seeks influence from.

your parents did enough to instill in you not to pretend to point guns at people and menace random strangers

you're both preaching to the choir, the difference is a cop isnt gonna kill you for shoplifting, getting high and partying.

now if you robbed a store with a bb gun you might get killed, but im sure you had enough sense to know that if you got in trouble for that it would be much more serious than just pocketing shit or putting on an extra shirt
