Every 4th Sunday, Uberschall plays @ Double Down Saloon. That is a unique experience, and you might need earplugs... but they'll accept you. 3 drummers in the front, 2 guitar amps & 1 bass amp in the back -- no vocals, but best band I've seen in Vegas (considering all 6 members are in the Blueman group gives some clout). Each of their shows are unique jams, involving roots from rock, jazz, funk, R&B, etc.

If you're looking for local hip hop artists in Vegas, find a show by Hassan Hamilton, possibly at the HardHat Lounge... I am not sure if they still do the weekly "hip hop roots" which is basically an open mic. I'm sure I still get invites, but I don't check.

If you hit me with the dates you'll be there & are interested in local scenes... PM me and I'll look for local artists events. Every First Friday, 4 blocks of streets downtown are closed off and filled with art & music.

If you're not lookin for local talent, hang out in Casinos.
