I actually "tried" on dis one. In some past things I didn't put in effort, or tried to be goofy...I feel like that "history" has worked against me. People who are judging should read the actual recent thing in front of them, not base things on rep or "past wackness".

I will concede a LITTLE bit of ground here Guerrero.
But just a little bit.
There are a handful of beats it's very good for, but upon further review there are also some beats that aren't good for it.
Like most people, I like to make verses work for Any beat; in that respect it is not as good as I originally thought, and the audio/text paradigm comes into play a bit. But it's still pretty good.

I know my mediocre stuff from my good stuff.

Thing is, nowadays I'm trying to be able to execute the thing. Been working on my delivery. Don't laugh but I've already reached certain "pinnacles" after focusing on the text aspect for over a year. I made a conscious decision to format things for my personal practice. Simplifications at times. In short, I'm such a veteran that to some of you sheep I may appear noobish.

I'm not here to 'wow' myself or anybody else; just trying to become good enough to make tracks with cool lyrics. So I suppose I should stick more to my own pieces as opposed to competing in battles or tourneys.

I know it's rap 'battles' but I think direct punches are over-rated. Metaphors and wordplay are great but often times people try too hard or go out of their way to force them.

Ignore these things all you wish. If 1 person understands, then it was worth the post.
