Alvin Karpis [VS] Kin (Alvin Karpis wins 5-0)

This is how round one battles usually go for the top ranked battlers in tournaments. Total slaughter. Kin's style is reminiscent of bad longbar and word association that gave longbar a bad rep to be honest. I mean the concepts were sort of there but the creativeness was lacking. Props to Alvin for not slacking off completely and giving us some lols.

murda sho [VS] Amen (murda sho wins 6-1)

Amen aka Netcees most hated. I kind of had high hopes for Amen to bring it in this tournament, using the hate to fuel some dope concepts and maybe an upset or two. Not only did he let me down, he let all of RB down. Shame on you "shun". (who the fuck says that?) Respect to murda sho for not only bringing it here but also entering as a reserve. Amen had 1-2 cool concepts but murda ended up taking this 6-1 with personals and the lotb.

Aero the Apex [VS] Blanco Bishop (Aero wins 6-0)

This battle was just a mismatch from the get go. I wasn't sure what I was going to get when I matched Blanco Bishop in this spot. You can tell Blanco can bring creativity but just lacked execution in some spots. I was feeling that Pornhub line and it seems people missed that one. Aero brought generic plays, albeit some were nice, they were just kind of boring to be honest. Plus based on your recycling past I wouldn't put it past you that you recycled here in this battle as well. You brought your usual wittiness and clever humor you usually bring to your verses. Hopefully next round you add a personal touch.

Tettris [VS] Malachi (Tettris wins 5-0)

My favorite to win this tourney, Tettris, brought it this round with his creative bars and personal touch. Malachi surprised here also with some good concepts. In the end Tettris whole verse just exposed Malachis weaknesses with wording and execution.

BROKE LESNAR [VS] RudeBoy (Broke Lesnar wins by No Show)

RudeBoy no showed.

Defiant [VS] Evolve (Defiant wins by No Show)

Evolve no showed.

Neighbor [VS] Tic Tac (Tic Tac wins by No Show)

Neighbor no showed.

Constrikta [VS] Lyfza Gamble (Lyfza Gamble wins by a scared shitless Constrikta no showing)

Constrikta no showed.

Allen Knight vs jilti (Allen Knight wins by 10-5)

I almost put out an UPSET ALERT. The votes poured in with jilti going toe to toe with AK, votes coming in put it at 5-5 early. Maybe the underdog has a chance? But Allen Knight ended up winning in the end 9-5. To be honest I thought this battle wasn't that great. You could tell Allen Knight slacked off here and I wasn't the only one who thought so.

Anyways, Allen Knight won this on consistency and pulled off the win with more quotes that were solid hits as opposed to jilti who had a few complete misses. If Allen Knight wants to stay in this tourney he will need to write to his standards and not to the level of his opponents.

Destroyer [VS] KnowP (Destroyer wins by 5-0)

I was hoping this would be a good battle but I was disappointed to be honest. KnowP didn't bring his harshness he usually brings from RB and Destroyer didn't bring the one haymaker that made this kinda close. Destroyers comedic factor and consistency in end got him the win. Wall of bitching averted.

Swerve [VS] illergicreaxion (Swerve win by 6-0)

The score of this match didn't reflect on how close it was between these two battlers in the end. Both brought some dope/fresh concepts. Swerve in the end had better execution and wording. 6-0 Swerve.

King Karaoke [VS] Dragon (Cowards)

Both No show.

ill nik-A [VS] The Mind Assassin (ill nik-A wins by 8-0)

This battle had a bad blood background. I was hoping when I pitted these two verse one another something would happen. Something did. The Assassin ended up being assassinated.

Sharp Nine [VS] pav (Sharp Nine wins by 9-3)

Pav brought an oldschool style here that earned him a few nostalgic votes but in the end Sharp made light work of this battle with the more conventional Netcees style. 9-3 Sharp

namix [VS] Greed (Greed wins by 7-0)

I've never really seen namix text before. Greed: Israelite wait. @longbar. lols. You just made every short bar heathen mad at you with that one. Namix had some concepts but you could tell didn't have the time to tell them well together and shorten his bars. Greed didn't come with much here besides the Aero die namix but the execution in his verse was neater.

Orc [VS] King Ra.(Orc wins by No Show)

King Ra. No showed.

Bags [VS] Velocity (Bags wins by 6-2)

This battle was close. Velocity had 1-2 complete misses but brought some good lines with a personal touch. Bags didn't bring his usual humor and because of that mixed in with his hiatus were why this was so close maybe. also there were no broke lesnar(lol i deleted that shit dont do that again), destroyer, god of war votes for auto 0-3 hole for opponent but I digress.... I had this almost even on quotes but bags had almost flawless wording and better execution on a few more lines with consistency. Bags took it in the end.

Doug Funny [VS] Certain (Certain wins 8-4

I thought Doug Funny was some dope Alias and maybe he still is but he severely miscalculated here. Certain brought some fresh concepts and delivered a pretty good verse, better than what I was expecting from him. Doug Funny, I thought brought the lotb with breaking bad but didn't come with much other than that. Certain delivered line after line. I was feeling that Saved by the bell reference the most. Certain, in the end wins 8-4.
