Where is the competition?

There is nobody on RB who can even really challenge the top guys here...why would they bother?

Text battling began it's prime about a decade ago, and it ended in about 2008...people have been doing it for a significant portion of their life...the battlers doing it today, other than maybe a handful of dudes, just don't offer the same challenge as the dudes back then did.

I was there, I've never been a text battler, I do it every so often when I'm bored, but I've seen the best of the best from all over the internet and I can tell you without lying or stroking my own ego, that the competition being offered right now is not adequate and nowhere near the level it was at a few years ago.

Why would people who were there and were at that level, continue to battle against lesser talent?

Witty, no disrespect but let's speak on a level plain field, homie. I mean, some dudes here are decent and are made out to be the dopest to ever do it. It's not about RB it's about KEEPING TEXT ALIVE, lol. The COMP is currently at RB. When was the last battle on NC? When was the last tourney at NC? When was the last anything here? I mean, @Allen Knight struggles to try an keep the NBL going, and faggots sign and an no show. NC isn't for competition but to talk shit to other people and troll. That's all this site is good for. Hell, that's the only reason why I log in. Readin have the shit that some of the retards here post is entertaining, it's basically equivalent to a female purchasing a Hollywood gossip magazine. There is no difference. All i'm saying is for those of you who actually enjoy writing, this isn't where you want to be but the fact that the majority call it your home site is hilarious, it's w/e. I do not care and don't know why I bothered typing all of this out... Fuck.
