@namix, there's a very easy way around catching shit as a new member: Don't be a dickhead. Spend your first couple months writing, feeding and voting.

Plenty of new members avoided the treatment Aesthetic, Trademark and RichCardo lol receive(d) because they kept their heads down and proved themselves. You don't get to join up at any site and take over the main ground without either establishing your credentials or proving willing, as El Pancake said, to deal with the harassment.
