For those wondering (probably no one), the Sunday shutout rule (goes from 8-0 to 5-0) won't be enforced until I get to work tomorrow afternoon.

Still, the battles most in need of votes are sacrifice vs. Frank, Diode vs. neutral and dyedinthewool vs. timeless.

Now that it's evident that I lost and I can speak freely, I just want to say that the verse I wrote this week might be among my personal favs in a topical. I managed to do exactly what I wanted to do and I seldom do that. Although it didn't get any votes I demolished the topic to its full extent and I'm satisfied with that result, the fact that all the votes focused on basicly completely different things in my verse shows my personal success. I had 2-3 other approaches that would have been better from a voters/readers pov, but I liked this one quite a bit. :)

Not going to repeat that kind of approach as wild as I did this week I think (so, no worries!), but I really enjoyed it.

that's what I like about writing topicals as opposed to battle verses. Even when I lose, I can still be stoked on what I wrote for a long time.
